backstory

years ago, Oris Story began. Back then, during her infancy and early teens, she lived in a thriving city, plagued by civil war, named Ala Mhigo. During her early life, she used to spend her days with her two older sisters, under the care of her mother, a renomed “woman of the night”, who while wonderful at her job, was horrible when it came to being a mother, doing nothing when it came to actually caring for her children other than giving them a roof to live under, and in fact, letting her anger out on the three young girls whenever she felt like it… but even then, due to how close the three sisters were, life wasn’t the worst. That changed when the garleans invaded, forcing the family to flee to what would become Little Ala Mhigo, and separating Oris from her sisters.
As the years passed, Oris’s Mom became more and more senile, and the young woman, having nowhere else to go, had to take care of her… until the day she eventually passed away, leaving the teenager Miqo’te to care for herself. And so she did. Learning to fight, to work, to survive. And survive she did, up until she turn into a young adult. Her experience taught the woman to fight, and she used that to then become an adventurer, slowly making a name for herself, working on a few odd jobs here and there, and going wherever the wind took her. She eventually joined the Ala mhigan liberation front, and once she manage to take back her homeland… she noticed that it in fact, had nothing left for there there, save from the memories, which lead her to settle down in Ul’dah, where Oris already made a name for herself as a photographer and an Adventurer, not to mention having bought for herself a little cozy place for herself and having meet many friends, and even some Lovers.
Once she settled back in the chaotic city of commerce, Oris then became way more relaxed and chill. Compared to the traumatized adventurer fighting to live every day, she was now more of a calm, collected veteran who lived of of adventuring, yes, but also from her other jobs, selling her pictures, and now enjoying the Eorzan Night life. From there, her life didn’t stop; she meet more people, became a nightclub host, dancer, and eventually a pretty good bartender, made some new friends, joined a free company, meet a slightly mad scientist who she fell in love with and eventually married and raised a family with… heck she even managed to become an archon with her teasis on the practical applications of akasha during combat; and to this day, one can encounter her around Ul’dah, some random nightclub, the quicksands, or exploring the world. and if you do meet her: say hi! she won't bite... unless the situation calls for it!

Oris is known to do lots of odd jobs here and there, but of course, she is down to be hired. be it as an adventurer, a photographer, a party host, a waitress, or anything really. she is open to dialogue about work at any time, and got a few talents worth talking about:1: she is an experienced bartender, used to serving clients in venues with custom drinks or following a regular menu.2: while not the absolute best, she is a competent photographer. and she is open to collaborations and requests. want a picture taken of you and your beloved? ask away! want a picture of yourself in a sexy, nude, or even lewd pose? ask away. or maybe want to snap a picture with Oris? again, ask away. worse you can get is having her being busy with other things! (the pictures on this carrd are an example of her work, if you like it, just tell her!)3: she is known to have some experience with hosting. and overall, is very social during parties! you need a waitress? front desk? someone to constantly scream out of their lungs during the night? she's your girl then.4: she is also known to be a great lover, so on the case you require someone for your business venue who takes care of your clients on a more... intimate level, she can do that too. of course, given a few conditions (check the erp section for more info.)5: Oris has also been known to be a private tutor. the girl is, after all, an acomplished archon, whose tesis is on the practical applications of akasha (nowadays more comonly known as dynamis) during combat. this means that she knows her way around both the pen and the sword, as well as being well versed on aetherial manipulation in order to produce what is comonly known as "black magic". so if you need a tutor for yourself, or someone you know... ask away!6: it also might be worth noting that Oris' has quite a unique body. a quick glance might recognize that the miqo'te is rather tall, not to mention the obvious fact she has a metal arm. her eyes also seem to be cybernetic in some shape and form... and the reason for that is that in recent years, she found ways to enhance herself with the help of her wife be it by genetical manipulation or via the implementation of cybernetic enhancements. even inside of her body! it got to a point that some of her friends jokingly call Oris a Cyborg! (but then again, they are not really wrong about it...)

about ERP: do note that anytime, Oris is approachable for ERP. and while usually she doesn't take the first step, it tends to be because she's to lazy to do so, and likes when people approach her. so show your interest, say hello. it's really not that hard!
